Thank you for the follow. What a wonderful blog you have! Parenthood is an amazing thing, and I hope you experience this for yourselves very soon!
First of all let me say thank you for following me and your blog is amazing. I too have been touched my adoption. Thanks to a very unselfish couple who made the decision to give up their baby because they were too young to be parents…I have an older brother. He was eleven days old when my parents brought him home from the hospital, I arrived two years later and my sister arrived two years after me. Although my mom was able to conceive my sister and I naturally, my parent’s family doctor had told my mom that she couldn’t conceive so they applied to adopt a baby and got my brother. I will pray that God brings you a child, maybe two, and that he will be as much a blessing to your family as my brother is to mine.
Hello there! You have a wonderful blog that’s full of grace and substance. Thank you for following my blog at Faith1st Ministry. I hope it has and will continue to be a major blessing in your life. Thank you so much for the following…hope for the best of your journey
Will follow the same.
Jenny
Thanks for following poemsandponderings.wordpress.com. I truly hope you will enjoy the experience and I pray that you are successful in your quest..This country needs more people who are willing and able to adopt children, as we seem to have so many, who are willing and able to make them but not willing and able to take the responsibitly for their actions.
Ps. I love the Zac Brown band too.. “Life is Good Today”
Thanks for following, good luck on your journey, I wish you all the best!
Thanks for being my first follower. It’s really encouraging.Today is the first day of OAK and I am glad to see instant response from readers.
I just wanted to say hi. (“Hi.”) You guys sound so much like me and my husband. I too am a C.S. Lewis-loving, HGTV-watching aspiring housewife, haha!
I just wanted to pop into your blog to say hello and to thank you for following my blog. Firstly I wish you well on your journey and look forward to reading more of your posts and your progress. I think it is just wonderful that I can be sitting in the Scottish Highland and be linked in with you and your wife in Kentucky. I’m pleased we found each other.
Thanks for following my blog. Good luck with the adoption. Maybe you will be able to sing my lullaby one day soon.
Thanks for following my blog.
Good luck with the adoption and may everyday be a greater adventure than the last. <3
Glad to meet you both! Will check out your wife’s blog! Thanks for visiting my blog so I could find yours! Looking forward to more!
Hi guys. Thanks for taking the time to read my blog ‘I may be wrong but…’ and for following it. I’ve just read a few of your own posts – good luck with the adoption! Warm wishes from the UK.
Vicky
Hi Andrew and Sarabeth thank you so much for stopping by my blog. I will certainly follow up on what’s going on in your lives so far as your adoption program is on going, I know one thing for sure my friend that the desire to adopt James is a desire the Lord has placed in your heart, isn’t He wonderful, He first places the desire and then He brings it to pass. I am in agreement with your prayer for James, if you want a boy the Lord will see to it.I will pass your blog site on to others I know and I trust that they will be able to encourage you in your walk. Have a blessed day and remember “all things are possible to him who believes”. Thanks once again, all the best from Sunny South Africa.
Thank you for dropping by my blog, Subject to Change. May the Lord grant you the desires of your heart.
Thanks for following my blog. My Mum was adopted as a baby and had a wonderful experience, her brothers and sisters were not so fortunate and spent a great deal of time in children’s homes in the 1940s and 1950s in the UK. Good luck in finding James, it’s an amazing thing you are doing.
Hi Andrew and Sarabeth, thank you for dropping by my blog and liking my poetry. Wonderful to see the support you have on your own blog, all the best in achieving your hearts’ desires. Clarabelle
Thank you kindly for following along with my blog! I think it is wonderful that you have much love and want to adopt to share that love!
Hi,
Your story sounds familiar to mine. My husband and I was looking forward to adoptin 21 years ago and God brought it to pass. Our son is now 20 years old and in his 3rd year in college.
I can relate to your excitment and anxiety on the issue.
Adopting our son has been the greatest things, 2nd to Jesus that we have done.
God bless you and your family.
Debra
Hey, I have nominated you for the Versatile Blogger award! I enjoy your blog.
Check it out here: http://glutenfreewewillbe.com/awards/
Hey folks!
I just noticed you started following my blog, so I came to check you out. I like your blog! This was my first stop, so I haven’t had a chance to explore too much… yet. I wanted to ask you something. I understand if you don’t want to answer. What is your motivation behind adoption? Is it something you WANT to do, or is out of necessity because you cannot have children? Sorry if I’m getting too personal too soon, but I’m just curious. When I’m not at work and I have a little more time, I’ll leave you a little bio on me and my family! Thanks for following my blog. It’s part of a nonprofit grant writing company that I’m trying to start (http://www.grantpros.org). We really are in our infant stage, but I’m having an awesome time with it nonetheless! Talk to you soon!
Not too personal at all. It’s a great question. Even before we got married we have wanted to adopt, whether or not we could have kids. There are just so many kids out there who need homes, and it’s a picture of what God has done for us as Christians – adopting us into His family – so we are anxious to display the same love to others.
I completely agree! My wife and I have discussed it, but our first is turning 1 in three days, so we’re not quite ready to move forward. Do you have any other children?
Just three dachshunds for now
(two of which are temporarily adopted)
That’s adorable…
Thank you so much for following me! I wish you both all the best in your adoption process…may God bless you along this path~
Lauren
Blessings on your attempts to adopt! What a wonderful day that will be!
Thank you for stopping by and following our blog. Your mission is indeed beautiful and hoping you are blessed with the most wonderful baby!! God bless!!
Thanks for following Blue Stone City. I actually have a post lined up to be published in the next few weeks entitled ‘Adoption’, so I hope you enjoy it. I was also mulling over the concept this morning of God’s bias for working through barren women, and thinking that perhaps He feels the same longing to fill His household with children…perhaps that will be another post. Blessings! Miriam
Sarabeth and Andrew, Thanks so much for visiting my site and deciding to follow along. Much love and learning on your journey.
Thank you for following my blog. I wish you both success on your journey to adopt a precious baby.
Thanks for the follow. Best of luck with your blog.
Sarabeth, I live in South Florida! Do you still reside here?
No, sadly I don’t! I live in Kentucky now…
Isn’t KY beautiful (that’s what I’ve heard)? I’d also imagine the quality of life is better than SF because of the slower pace. I am a Native of SF and while I love the sunshine, I don’t like the fast pace, rudeness, and crazy drivers…LOL!
Thanks for liking my blog. We have many friends who have adopted – will pray that the Lord will fill your home with children (to have fun with your dachshunds!). You are right – adoption is a beautiful model of what the Lord has done for us through Christ.
Thanks for checking out my blog. I love your desire to adopt a child! We have many friends and family members who have adopted and their stories of how God worked through the process and in their lives are amazing!
It’s truly admirable to see married couples giving up having children of their own and selflessly adopting the children of others! God would be so proud of you guys!
Hi Andrew and Sarah, thanks for stopping by and following my blog. I look forward to seeing your comments.
Your story pulls at my heartstrings. I hope your adoption dreams come true. All blessings on your family.
Huffygirl
You two deserve great commendation. You sound like you would make great parents for anyone. Thank you for stopping at my blog and taking the time to read.
Keep on keeping on,
-SS
Thank you so much for reading my post and choosing to follow me. I am flattered! I also thank you for leading me to yours which I have also chosen to follow.
You have directed my attention to another aspect of life that prospective parents deal with. I am the mother of two biological children who can empathize with the suspense. Let’s just say it was not easy since I was already advanced in age when I conceived my first child. You appear to be on the right track with God at the helm of things. I believe the journey you make towards your goal is as significant as reaching the goal itself. You are bringing kind and sensitive people together in your quest to make James a substantial reality of your life…and that’s worth a whole lot!
I look forward to further interactions with you.
God bless you,
Madona
I just wanted to thank you for following my blog and to say I hope and pray God will bless you in your efforts.
Thanks for choosing to follow my blog. I’m up to six!! Whoo-hoo!
I’m looking forward to reading what God has been showing you, sister (and brother).
I appreciate seeing you in the list of my followers. I want to follow your quest to find James (or Janie, if that is how it works out). Blessings. You are in my prayers.
Thanks for the follow! Best wishes for both of you.
I too appreciate the FOLLOW. We all get there together. dan4kent
Thank you for following me, it gave me the chance to discover your blog in return!
I wish you the best of luck and the best of love. I am living proof that it can be difficult, that it can be overwhelming but that it can happen. And when it does, it changes lives for the best. Thoughts and prayers for you.
Thanks for checking out my blog — I love how God works! So blessed to read your stuff! I have two little sweeties from Fostering to Adopt here in VA – adoption is close to my heart. And I will be praying for your adoption!
Wow! I will be praying for you guys!! Thanks for checking out my blog! How did you even find my blog?

Thank you for following my blog. Best of luck to you in your efforts to adopt a child.
Good luck – there are plenty of kids that need loving parents!
So glad you came by my little corner of the internet: http://pattyperkowski.com/! I thought I would stop by to say hello, and thank you for coming to visit. I will really enjoy getting to know you both and hope all the best for you and your family
Hi, I’ve only browsed over your blog, you are adopting, so am I. Actually, our son will be moving in with us in about a month. Don’t know how it’s going for you, but I wish you both the best of luck.
Thank you for visiting my blog. My husband adopted our oldest when we got married. It has been a great experience watching our son grow into manhood knowing he was chosen. It has eased his pain at being so easily discarded by his earthly father. Blessing on you and your growing family.
Hi and thank you for following my blog. I’m walking a different spiritual path than you, but I think our paths just crossed and I HAD to respond. I don’t always post about my son, my blog is about developing my writing skills and writing about what’s in my head at any given moment. Sometimes it funny, sometimes it’s about politics, or music. Sometimes it’s a bit off color. And sometimes it about my son. Many times I have thought about writing one specific story but it never was the “right time” for me. Coming to your blog has shown me its now the time to tell how my husband and I adopted our son. It’s a pretty unique and absolutely AMAZING adoption story, and if it helps you and your wife find your child then I am happy to share. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a secret or anything, everyone who knows us knows that our son is adopted. I just haven’t blogged about it yet.
I truly hope and pray that your prayers are answered soon and that soon you will be blogging about the blessed and crazy state of parenthood!
Sarabeth and Andrew
Thanks for visiting my blog. My sentiments reflect much of what has already been said. All the best on your mission.
Thanks for following my blog. You are an interesting find, as I am adopted, my birth mother is adopted, and my husband and I adopted our daughter. Adoption can bring so much joy and oddness to the lives of so many. Best wishes and prayers for you both in your journey to James.
That should read “goodness” not “oddness”!
Hi there Andrew and Sarabeth, thanks for following. We wish you the best of luck and much happiness. Jane and Neil
There are so many kids in this world that need loving parents. I’m so glad you are stepping forward, willing to go through what I’ve heard can be a long process. Good luck, and best wishes as you explore your path to parenthood!
Thank you very, very, very, very much for following my blog! It makes it all the more worthwhile when you know someone somewhere appreciates what you’re doing!
All the best to you and your nearest and dearest.
Take care.
I’ve been meaning to send a thank you! for following my blog, and more so for YOUR blog! i love the message you send. i consider myself a faithful person, but am not nearly as strong to write about it as you are with no fear of backlash. this gives me a little ammunition and strength! good luck in the adoption process, i know a few people who have experienced it, and even when there was struggle, the end result was worth it! hopefully you can take home james, or jenny
soon <3 God bless
Adoption is a beautiful thing! You are officially nominated for the Beautiful Blogger award.

Hello there, Thanks for following me. I look forward to reading your blogs, I wish you all the best in adopting your first child. I and a new blogger and I blog about different things going on in my life. I especially write about fitness and faith which are very important to me. I’m doing lots of different fitness challenges right now as well as a faith challenge, The Bible in 90 Days! As you probably saw on my blog I finished day 53. I’ve tried this challenge a few times before and this is the furthest I’ve ever gotten on this challenge, I’m really excited about that! I’ve read the whole Bible once before following a year reading plan. Great to meet you, I look forward to reading your blogs and I hope you enjoy reading mine!
James
Thank you for sharing your wonderful and inspiring fix your eyes above. It is a good reminder to everyone and I fully agree. God bless you more. Keep up the good work.
Best of luck on the adoption process! I have three sisters who are adopted, and it is an absolutely wonderful way to build a family! Many blessings.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! I imagine that there must be many, many people who can relate to your blog topic and the process you are going through. It sounds like James will have a family who loves him and loves God – what more does a kid need?!
Thanks for choosing to follow my blog. I wish you the best of luck in your adoption. Adopting our daughter was the best thing that ever happened to us, so was having our son.
Thank you for stopping by. I wish you all the best.
Thanks for the follow. On an unrelated note, have you read ‘Desire of the Everlasting Hills’ by Thomas Cahill? I found it insightful. Also, Robert Alter has done a great job of translating ‘The Five Books of Moses’, ‘The Wisdom Books’ and ‘Psalms’ from the original archaic texts into modern english. In his translation notes he discusses Hemmingway & english poets next to details about the old greek & hebrew. Interesting stuff & beautiful too. Cheers!
Thanks for stopping by

Thanks for following my blog Literary Undertakings. My brother recently adopted a set of twins so I know can be quite a difficult process in some cases. I hope your adoption goes well.

Andrea
Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog. cheers, Rita
Hello Andrew and Sarabeth,
Thank you very much for following http://tnlighthouse.wordpress.com and we look forward to reading your posts as well. Really enjoyed “The Horror’s of Christian Theory Part I.”
BTW: My dear Hubby and me: Alameda -> Oakland-> Tennessee-> The Office->Sean Connery 007 Movies – NCIS – Sewing – Gardening and…wait for it…Sweet Tea!
And when “James or Jane” arrives… you’ve gotta read and ‘act out’ all the parts to David and Goliath… Our five loved that.
Rev. Corliss Acosta – The Lightkeeper
(just call me Corliss)
From Upper Cumberlands Tennessee-”Where the hills kiss the sky”
(not joking-that’s really the Town slogan…was there an Oakland, California town slogan? No, not so much).
Be Blessed!
Morning!
Yeah! Hurray! I’ve nominated you for an award!
Please check it out here…

And remember to spread bloggin’ the love…
Hey guys. Thanks for following my blog, http://wtfaith.com . I’ll be following yours as well. And hey – small world – I’m also from South Florida. In fact, I graduated from South Plantation High School. What part of South FL is Sarabeth from?
Hey, thanks for following me, check out some of my older stuff, it’s much more inspired.
From Japan. Thank you for visiting and following my blog. I worry that the article is written by me may wound you. I would like to be scientific, although I do not dislike religion. I hope that you can be understood my language.
Thanks for the follow – great idea for a blog, it’ll be wonderful to look back on once you’ve adopted. Congrats on the book!
What a fantastic idea for widening your exposure. Jeremiah 29:11-13. May God bless your endeavours as a loving family with many hopes and dreams!
Andrew and Sarabeth,
I find your blog to be a beautiful journey to find “James.” And I will be praying for James’ quick arrival.
Andrew, you most certainly have a gift for writing, and it shows that you come alive when you are doing so. And it’s heart-warming to see you use your passion in order to bring you and Sarabeth a child – a child who will desperately need the unconditional love that you both have in your hearts.
I also want to thank you for finding interest in my blog. As you can see, I am someone who finds great happiness in seeing others live with passion. I would love to see more people living, loving, and working with true passion. I find that to be lacking in our society, which is so disheartening to me.
You and Sarabeth are a great inspiration and role model of living with purpose and passion.
And I must congratulate you, Andrew, on your most recent update regarding your book!
Wishing you both all the very best!
Hi Andrew and Sarabeth, thank you for choosing to follow one of my blogs (http://threedailydelights.wordpress.com/) – I really appreciate it! I hope your dreams of adopting a baby are fulfilled soon.

Hi there, thanks for following my blog! I have to admit, I’m always slightly surprised whenever I get subscribers who run Christian blogs. Some of the most interesting interfaith discussions I’ve had have been with other Christians though, so I hope we’ll be able to learn from one another, despite our different choices in gods ;] Feel free to email me if you have any questions at awakeninlight@yahoo.com
Thanks for stopping by my blog and for the follow! Best, Rashelle
Thanks for following!
I’m not sure how you found my blog, With Humour and Hope, but thanks for liking it. I’ve never written about adoption, but I have friends who have been through this process, and it was heart-wrenching but rewarding. I hope it all turns out well for you. As my niece says, “things work out the way the way they need to.”
HI Andrew and Sarabeth! I have faith that James will find his way to you. Shall keep you in my prayers and meditations. Bless xx

Congratulations on your contract for your book and on adopting James. I am very interested in both subjects, so I’ll visit your site often.
Thank you. I look forward to having you back.
thanks for stopping by Spence Sense. I’m a busy fellow these days, working on music, a couple of novels and two blogs. I’m heading down to Mexico for the winter to work as a musician while writing in they day time. I just finished rereading Steinbeck’s Travels With Charley and my first novel The Vernal Equinox was written at 21yrs while I was besotted with the simple style of Cannery Row. regards, Raymond Spence
Travels with Charley is on my reading list. Steinbeck is one of the all-time greats!

Thank you for noticing my blog and following it. We have some things in common. I, too, like The Office. . .will miss it for sure next year. Steinbeck is a favorite writer. I’m writing an historical novel now and I came close to adopting children 20 years ago — and they were from Kentucky. I often wonder what became of them! Best wishes for your growing family.
